01 — The lounge

Recovery used to mean a long drive. Now it's on your doorstep.

Baseline Recovery is a modern recovery and wellbeing space built for the people who actually train — GAA and football clubs, runners, cyclists, CrossFitters, swimmers, and anyone who finishes the week stiff and wrecked.

Science-backed, properly equipped and deliberately unclinical. Dark, warm and quiet inside — somewhere to spend an hour that isn't the pub.

Why it's
worth your hour

Recovery is the part of training nearly everyone skips. Done properly and regularly, here's what it's for.

/01

Less soreness

Back up training sessions and matches without carrying last week's legs into them.

/02

Lower injury risk

A consistent recovery routine keeps niggles from turning into weeks on the sideline.

/03

Stress down

Phone away, heat on, nothing to do. An hour that genuinely switches you off.

/04

Better circulation

Heat, compression and cold all move blood — useful whether you're 22 or 72.

/05

Mental resilience

Choosing the cold on purpose makes everything else feel a bit more manageable.

/06

Somewhere to go

A social space built around feeling well, rather than around a bar.

05 — The founder

Run by someone
who trains

I'm Conán Hynds. Sport has always been a big part of my life — playing GAA and football, then coaching, then digging into the science behind performance.

Baseline Recovery is the next step: bringing proper recovery kit to County Down so people don't have to travel for it. Every protocol here is based on what actually gets used by athletes, not what sounds good on a price list.
